A hilltop village where the coast becomes a view, and history lives in the lanes.
Above the seafront, Mošćenice offers a different scale: stone lanes, old thresholds and glimpses of the gulf. Walk slowly enough to notice the village rather than only its panorama. The ethnographic collection and historic olive mill add context to the landscape.
The famous connection with Sveti Ivan beach involves 753 steps. Treat it as a real climb, especially on the return, and bring water. If stairs do not suit your day, approach the village by road instead. Check current access and opening arrangements before planning a visit to individual attractions.
